Today was quite busy! Did one admission by myself. I forgot to ask the weight, forgot to give the patient a wrist tag and forgot to write the date on the clinical chart. *sigh*
I went with a patient and one staff nurse to the U/S department. So shiok..while waiting I sat down, replied to loretta's and Jane's sms.
Yesterday I assisted dressing along with 2 other nurses. This old lady had a big incision over her big big abdomen. Her wound broke down and it had a lot of slough. My gosh, all I did was the hold open her big wound and my hands were already so tired. Hahaha...but it was a gd experience.
Today I walked into her room to talk to her. She asked me to help her switch off the fan on the wall. I told her, "Auntie, you see me I'm quite short, I can't reach". Then I asked if she was given a remote...
So sad...
Today I left the ward earliest compared to other days. I left 5mins before 9pm! Rushed home, quickly bathe, went online...loretta not online >.< So I watched CSI, and finally after 48mins she appeared. Haiz.
Anyway loretta, I enjoy the late nights talking with you! Even though we suffer the next day.
Tomorrow working morning shift. I don't know how I'm going to get up, I only have 5.5hours to sleep. Haiz.
