I had 3 tests! And each tests had significant weightage! Gosh!
1. Nursing Lab Practical test - 70%
2. Statistics test - 60%
3. Nursing Lab Practical test - 30%
The 1st test was at 9am, 2nd was at 12noon and then 4pm.
At 9am, Lai Ying, myself, Tomomi, Charmaine, Sylvia and Wendy sat outside H401. Everyone is panic mood. haha! Tachycardia.
Tomo, Lai Ying and I went in together. We had like 10mins to see our case scenario, prepare equipment and we even read through the criteria list! =) Checked all the critical points to do. haha.
My case scenario was Female Urinary Catheterization. Was kinda hoping for nasogastric tube insertion coz it's a clean procedure, and catheterization is an aseptic procedure. Hahaha.
But anyway I got a really nice indian lecturer. She looks formidable. But halfway through my assessment I caught a faint smile from her. Then I relaxed a bit. hahaha!
After 10minutes I finished my skills assessment. Lai Ying took even lesser time! Haha! Saw her packing up when I just finished.
I PASSED. Was really thanking God when I walked out of the room.
12noon, next test to conquer. Statistics. I'm not a math whizz. In fact, I don't like numbers. But what to do...the test was okay, had a few tricky questions. And my statistics programme HANGED. Sheesh...luckily I saved my data.

4pm was lab theory test. Sat outside the theatre with tomo, lai ying, sian muang, charmaine, sylvia and mai and went through the chapters together.
I thought the test was average. Yup. I saw my "best friend"! Haha...Ms.Chiang Ching Ching was one of the invigilators. Haha. Ever since I was eliminated from World Skills a couple of weeks ago I haven't seen her! HAHA. And haven't seen Jane (best partner) for a long time too!
Ahh well...next week is another BIG WEEK. Have FOUR in-course assessments. FOUR SOLIDS TESTS. FOUR okay...no joke.

The following is a also a big week...COZ IT'S THE START OF THE HOLIDAY! Only 2 weeks break...but it's gonna be exciting!! I'll be off to Kuantan Malaysia on a trekking trip at Jerangkang waterfall. Then Church camp at Kuala Lumpar, THEN round island kayaking expedition.
After the 2 weeks holiday is 4 weeks of attachment at KKH to do specialized posting. Ahhh! Babies and pregnant women.
Alright, gonna do QT and off to read book - BRINGING THE HOUSE DOWN. Very interesting. About how 6 MIT students beat the Las Vegas Casino System and won millions. =) Gotta be a math whizz to do that.
