Today I went for training. Ms.Cythia gave the feedback regarding last friday's elimination. I suddenly felt so stress. Really don't think I'm up to it. I need to buck up on my communication! Finals will eliminate another pair. Then go for Singapore round, our competition: 4 pairs of ITE students. According to our ITE-scholars NYP, they said the ITE students are "on the ball" and trained by a very very good teacher.
I'm extremely scared. I feel like withdrawing...but...I've gotten this far! Anyway my partner and I promise we'll work really really hard for the Finals elimination round. I'm kinda interested to go to Canada, but...SO STRESSFUL and a lot of time committment. =)
I'll do my best.
Every time there's world skills training, I feel very queasy and I keep going to the toilet. haha.
Today I did an integrated scenario with Yvonne, her partner and my partner were not around, so we paired up. I thought I did much better in my patient education on the drug Metformin for diabetes. Just need to build more confidence.
Ms.Cynthia said both Yvonne and I DON"T SMILE. HAHA. And she said in general, "if you have a loud voice, try to tone down, and smile a bit) Can't help it! I'm trained as a drill commander! Trained to have LOUD, STERN VOICE and STRICTLY NO SMILING. I don't know if she's referring to me as the one with the loud voice. Haha!
Anyway, Ms.Chiang Ching Ching (MY FAVE LECTURER) assessed Yvonne and I for the integrated scenario. I'm so happy she'll be taking me for some lectures! *grinz*
Oh OH! I saw my timetable, I got Dr.Raj for bio! I heard he's very good! *excited*
I'm really praying hard and hope for the best in the World Skills Final. =) Even if I don't make it, I get to come back as models for the next batch of world skills intake! =)
Okay, I'm off to study le! *all the time talking about world skills...GOSH*
Alright...BYE!
