Yesterday NYP celebrated both occasions. There was a stage set up at K-gardens. There was the 'one-minute-of-fame', several students went up to explain their artwork on Singapore on stage. There was buffet and a special bollywood dance by the lecturers. Extremely entertaining, we shouted encore, so the lecturers had to dance twice for us. Haha..but it's really brave of them to dance. =) WOOHOO!
The 'one-minute-of-fame' thing was really...erm..say..rather disappointed. Haha. Nearly half of them played guitar and sang. And say, 3 of them were from gutiar club and what in the world are they doing? haha. There this really tall and MACHO guy, with streaks of red dye on his hair and his guitarist friend..I thought they'll be really good, but the macho guy coulden't sing for nuts. haha. There were other singers la..well..they were brave souls.
The judges comments were really out of this world. One said all the voices were melodious...hahaha.
But then again, these students are entertaining..I guess.
There was one group from adv.dip...they did some rapping and clapping dance...really good. They won most of the votes. The macho guy did get any I think.
Okay...my tutorial group had mask-fitting exercise during lab lessons. Really cool. Haha. Friday gotta test again.
Went to see HuiPing..she's feeling much better. Now that she can eat already, better keep an eye on her. Hahaha...but she's very optimistic about her condition. =)
EXAMS ARE COMING. Omg. Next wednesday is sociology. I'm QUITE prepared. Haha..almost finished studying everything le.
I'm getting very excited about YouthCamp 2007, coz I AM the programs coordinator! HAHA. And yes...can't wait to test out the games. =) Ruth just reminded me there's campcom meeting this sun, and I haven't done much to compelte what i'm supposed to do. UGH.
I had an inspiration yesterday at about 8pm. Ya! So I wrote a 2-line verse and a 6-line chorus. Shall tell sumit, then he can help me with the rest and polish up the tunes! =P
